What is your COVID-19 policy?
Crow Hill has always achieved 5* Gold standards of hygiene and cleanliness, as rated by Visit Britain. Our staff are now carrying out additional sanitising procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Check-in is socially distanced. Under UK government guidelines, all guests are required to fill in a form stating the dates of their visit and their contact details. As all of our properties are self-contained, self-catering and with private gardens, you can be rest assured of peace and privacy during your stay.
Are linen and towels provided?
Linen and towels are provided. For stays of over 7 days, a weekly towel and linen change is included.
Are essentials such as toilet paper and dishwasher tablets provided?
All properties are provided with a free Welcome Pack on arrival, which includes all the basics to get you going.
Can you provide a daily or twice-weekly housekeeping service or a cook?
For stays longer than 7 days, a weekly linen and towel change is included. Should you require further housekeeping, we can offer a cleaning service (choose from between weekly and daily) and more frequent linen changes. These incur an additional cost, please enquire. Crow Hill's award-winning Head Chef can prepare meals upon request and at an additional charge. Please enquire at time of booking.
What is the countryside like for walking nearby?
Crow Hill is set on the edge of the National Trust Marsden Moor, 5000 acres of unspoilt moorland, crags, fells, streams and valleys. Find more information on the National Trust website. You can walk out onto it directly from the Crow Hill Estate - exit through the farm gate at the top of the car park. Please speak to us on check-in for more information.
Is car parking available?
Ample, free car parking, allocated specifically to each of our properties, is available on site.
Can I book online grocery shopping to be delivered for when I arrive?
Yes you are more than welcome to do so, however we please ask you to book the delivery slot for after your arrival time. If the shopping arrives before yourselves, unfortunately we will not be able to put it away for you, as part of our Covid safety precautions. The address to input is 'name of property you will stay at', Carrs Road, Marsden, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD7 6JH.
Can I have a party or guests (additional to those booked to stay overnight) to visit during my stay?
Regrettably parties are not permitted at any time. Should you wish to hold an event at one of our properties, please visit our Weddings and Events website, or contact us for more information.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are always welcome at Crow Hill. We accept up to 2 well-behaved dogs per property, and a dog fee applies. Please see our Dogs Welcome page for more info.
The property I would like to stay in has an open fire, do you provide firewood?
We provide the first basket free of charge, further baskets of wood from the Estate can be purchased for £5.00, please contact on the number below.
